Born in 1961 in Bonn; 1981-1982 stay in England, Certificate of Proficiency in English, University of Cambridge; voluntary service at British Gas, Birmingham, HR department; 1982-1985 basic studies (Grundstudium) in History and English, University of Bonn; 1984 DAAD scholarship for a six months’ stay at the University of Canterbury, England; 1985-1989 studied law at the Universities of Würzburg and Hanover; 1989 1st degree in law; 1990-1995 junior barrister in Hannover and Celle; 1995 final degree in law; since 1996 child attorney at the Local Court Hildesheim
